ENÖCKL Against the Stars of E2!

Austria's Pascal RAUCHENECKER (Husqvarna) will be able to count on back up during the Maxxis Grand Prix of Hungary, which will take place from 23 to 25 June in Paradfürdo... his compatriot Lars ENÖCKL (KTM) will be one of the top Wild Cards at the 4th round of the year.

A Hard Enduro specialist, the Austrian has regularly featured on the podium in extreme races such as Hell's Gate and the Battle of Vikings. But his best performance remains Red Bull Sea to Sky in 2016, which he won ahead of Andreas LETTENBICHLER (D - KTM). "LE19" also finished Vice-Champion at the first European Cup of SuperEnduro in 2016, as well as winning an Enduro Austrian Championship title in 2012...
ENÖCKL has entered the Maxxis Grand Prix of Hungary at the end of June and will be competing in Enduro 2 on the KTM 250cc 2-stroke. He will have a lot to do in this category which contains quick and talented youngsters such as Josep GARCIA (E - KTM), Jamie MCCANNEY (GB - Yamaha) and Pascal RAUCHENECKER, and also the consistency and experience of ‘veterans’ such as Eero REMES (SF - TM) and Jonathan BARRAGAN (E - Gas Gas) ...

This latest high profile Wild Card proves that the new format and new image of the FIM Maxxis EnduroGP World Championship is an attractive prospect for riders and his participation will also give more exposure to the championship. Lars ENÖCKL’s results should be followed with interest by the other Extreme and Hard Enduro riders...
