TM Factory Locks Down VERONA!

The season is not over yet but the 2018 rider transfer market is already starting... It is TM Factory Racing who have made the first move by guaranteeing the signature of the freshly crowned FIM Youth 125cc World Champion, Andrea VERONA (I), enrolling the young Italian into their Factory Team.

For his rookie season in the World Championship, as part of the brand new TM Racing Enduro Satellite team, VERONA dominated, winning the title with two Grand Prix still remaining. Having discovered this superbly talented rider, Luca CHERUBINI, manager of TM Factory Racing, could not miss out on the opportunity to retain him, and so he invited the young rider from Treviso to sign a 3-year contract...
Luca CHERUBINI: “I am very satisfied with Andrea’s season and with the work done by the satellite team, overseen by Daniele SALUCCI. When we created this satellite support team our goal was to discover potential and bring young riders through the ranks, before having them sign with the official factory team. We have managed to do this with VERONA. The fact that Andrea believed in this project from the beginning and wanted to take advantage of our experience and the way we work is very rewarding. But this latest signature is not an end and we continue to look for other young talents ready to be part of our project!

A great reward for one of the most promising stars of Italian Enduro, and a reminder of the management skills of CHERUBINI for the firm championed by Gastone SERAFINI. If the bike and team stay competitive, Andrea VERONA will be well equipped and well prepared to line-up against the top Juniors, and should be one to watch as he makes the switch from a 125 2-stroke. In any case, this first signing shows that the 2018 season could be very interesting indeed...
