FREEMAN with Beta Boano

At the beginning of the off-season, everyone was talking about Beta Racing… and they were one of the first manufacturers to break the silence, and after announcing a three year extension to Steve HOLCOMBE (GB)’s contract, the Italian firm and its satellite team « Beta Boano » have decided to recruit another British rider: Brad FREEMAN!

As outright European Champion in 2016, the name FREEMAN has been mentioned often by several teams during this recent “transfer window”... And finally it was Beta Boano that convinced him to sign on the dotted line! Even if he signed a contract with the parent company, the Brit will spend the 2017 season under the awning of Jarno BOANO's team.
As a Wild Card in the 2016 EnduroGP final in Cahors (France), the rider from Staffordshire shone with two impressive fourth places. For 2017, FREEMAN will compete in the Junior (EJ) category and will be up against top international youngsters such as Josep GARCIA (E - Husqvarna), Mikael PERSSON (S - Yamaha) and Albin ELOWSON (S - Husqvarna)...
As for Beta Boano, they will be hoping that history will repeat itself: in 2014, they recruited another Briton, Danny MCCANNEY, who brought the Junior title to this private team based in Liguria.

Since then, MCCANNEY’s title has been followed up by his brother Jamie in 2015, and with Steve HOLCOMBE’s E3 title last season, there is no doubt that the emerging nation in EnduroGP is indeed the UK! We must therefore prepare to see even more Brits at the forefront in the coming years, and FREEMAN could be part of this new « golden » generation...
